Kura & Kohanga photos
Poihakena Portraits are now offereing a Maori and Portrait Service for Kohanaga & Kura.
Instead of your usual individual photos in school uniform, we can dress your tamariki in kakahu and create beautiful portraits that capture their heritage.
We are able to photograph your roopu, kura or playgroup in your venue. We will arrive first thing in the morning to set up so we are there when the tamariki arrive. We will have our wardrobe of kakahu and with the help of your kaimahi or kaiako dress the children for portraits.
Whanau can use our prepay ordering evenlops and pay via eftpos on the day or via bank deposit.

We create Mãori Styled Portraits that capture the pride and beauty of your whanau. Envisage your loved ones wearing korowai, moko stamps and kapa haka kakahu in hand edited portraits hanging on the wall.
